Thinking of a Web Store Need Input

Ok so I would like to make some extra money and I have been mulling over making my own web site/store for my knitting. I would sell things that I have made and take special orders.

So here is where you come in. I am wondering if any of you would think about buying items like that from a web page and if so what kind of items would you be interested in? I don't want to make too much stuff that wouldn't sell, that would defeat my entire purpose. I also thought about putting an item or two on eBay from time to time and linking to the site (cheap advertisement). Also Kevin makes tatting shuttles and I thought it would be nice to add them as well.

Any and all of your suggestions are much appreciated.

Here are some of my item ideas:
Holiday items - felted pumpkin, Christmas ornaments, etc.
Scarves
Hats
Baby Clothing
Baby Booties/Socks
Animal toys
Mittens
Shawls

My First Glove is Finished

Well I finally finished it. The ends are woven in and it actually looks like a glove! Can you even imagine?! Now I have another one to make so I have a set and I don't have to keep one hand in my coat pocket to keep it warm. Kevin was looking at it and was impressed. I think that the second one should go smoother since now I have a better idea what I am doing. I have the cast on done for the second one, so now I just need to start knitting. Guess that will have to wait until tomorrow. I will post a picture soon of the finished one so you can see it too.

Knitting Block #3

This is what I am currently working on. It shouldn't take me too long to get it finished then I can go back to my glove, the cargo pants, socks and swatching. I hope to have it finished in the next few days. This pattern knits up fairly easily and quickly. Hummm I might have to make a blanket out of it.

Cargo Pants

Well here is the start of James' Knitted Cargo Pants. I got the pattern on Knitty. They are coming along nicely. I need to pick them back up again and get going on them before he has outgrown them. I did add stitches to the pattern so that they are bigger and will fit him longer.

If you have noticed the hole in the knitting, that is where I have joined yarns. Once I am finished I will weave the ends in and it will close up. I got reassurance from Sarah at Lambikins before I went any farther with them. They are always such a big help when it comes to my crazy questions.

First Glove

Here is my first attempt at gloves. I still have the index and thumb to do. So far they aren't as hard as I expected them to be. Granted I had to read parts of the instructions multiple times, but in the end I was able to figure it out. I am so proud of it so far. I can't wait to get them finished so I can show them off. My Mother-in-Law saw them and really liked them. I think I might be having to make her a pair LOL. Hummm that could make a good Christmas gift. The only problem is she would have to know about them since I have to have the measurements of her hands. I guess that could make the gift just that much more fun. The hole idea of knowing, but not having them yet. That could be an idea....

Afghan Block #2

Here is my second block for my afghan. If you can see them there are hearts on it. I thought that it would look nice on the red. I am sure it will look better once it is blocked into shape, but that will come once all of the blocks are done so I know what size they will all end up. LOL. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it is finished.
